Dievs, svētī Latviju! The acquaintance that took place during the Match-making event "Supporting the cooperation of the University of Opole with Ukrainian universities within the FORTHEM Alliance" in June 2023 had a fruitful continuation in September during a visit to the University of Latvia, the oldest and largest state university in Latvia, located in Riga. Representatives of the University, Vasyl Hruban and Iryna Honcharenko, had meetings with the director Inga Šīrante and researchers from the Institute of Atomic Physics and Spectroscopy at LU, namely Dr. Roman Viter, Dr. Atis Skudra, Dr. Maksym Pogorelov, during which they identified possible directions for joint research. On September 29, they presented Mykolaiv NAU during the annual event "Night of Science 2023," which takes place simultaneously in all universities in the country.
